my hairdresser drove a Carrera Cabriolet. His husband drove a Cayenne.
They thought my Boxster S was too impractical.

For the record, the overwhelming amount of commentary that I receive is incredibly positive."you have my dream car", "nice Porsche sir" being the two most common. But then again this America and from my dealings with British people, it seems they are far more judgmental of each other than we are here. They seem to judge everything about each other, the way they speak "accent is too regional", where they were educated, the way they dress "....so not posh" and just about everything else. It has too be the most class obsessed culture I've dealt with while working in NYC for nearly two decades.

period English. I think the British at one point were trying to class up their lot by making their words Frenchier. Like for instance "colours" when "colors" was working just fine ever since they stopped speaking barbarian.

The English language is a fairly recent one and is a mixture of several languages after many invasions as well as colonisations (note there is no 'z' in this word).

I think that you will find that 'colour' was originally spelt this way, the original occupants of the US had a completely different word for when they were discussing things in their wigwams.

The immigrants who occupy the country now didn't know how to spell and forgot to take a dictionary hence 'color' and a heap more incorrectly spelt words.

So with some of the terminology differences, Amreican cars have a trunk and a hood, while British cars have a boot and a bonnet. Does the Boxster "frunk" in America translate to a "froot" in England?

Au contraire grasshopper. i'll see more stunningly beautiful womens there in 30 minutes than I would otherwise see all week. I dont know if its some unwritten rule amongst gay dudes but they seem not allowed to have unattractive female friends. He just hired a long haired blonde south american woman who literraly stops traffic...both vehicle and pedestrian. Yeah...the barber shop wont be seeing me anytime soon

This is simply not the case. The Brits are a very equal people in as far as we hate everyone equally.
