996 guages if anyone is interested.

Hey guys my wife totaled my boxster and I pulled the cluster that I had swapped in before it was sent to the yard. It is a 996 cluster that if I can remember has 79k miles. The mileage can be set to your existing mileage I had just never got around to it. The gauges are from a 2000 996 with silver faces, volt, and oil. They are from the correct 996 that the fuel gauge reads correctly. They also include the housing and hazard switch so they are a direct swap.

I dont frequent this site very much anymore but you can email me @ urbanprop@hotmail.com

$150 plus shipping. I am located in cincinnati if anyone wants to pick them up.

What a fair price. Nice job. If it were an '02, '03 or an '04 I would be all over this.

Meir,

I don't think this cluster will work with your car. See this article on Pelican:

Pelican Technical Article: Boxster 996 Gauge Cluster Upgrade - 986 Boxster (1997-04) -

I think you will need a cluster from a 2002 or later car.

Yep.
You are probably right. But the best way to tell is by looking at the connectors colors.
I guess this time someone else is gonna get a great deal
