How do you use your Boxster

With so much talk about the reliability of these cars, I am wondering how people here use them, and how that correlates to their reliability.

I daily drive mine, and have had no problems to date.

Bought October 2010 at 77,000 miles.
Daily driven through summer and winter
Spirited hard daily driving spending 80% of my time over 4500rpm. I average 16mpg.
Autox'ed and tracked in the Spring/Summer time.
Now at 94,500 miles.

Issues so far? Replaced 2 tail light bulbs, 2 head light bulbs, inner tie rod, and strut bushings. Replaced 2 front tires after they got flat from pot holes. Replaced rear plastic window. So far it has been a reliable and cheap car. I do the regular maintenance myself like oil changes. I installed a performance exhaust system and intake and lowering springs.

I think I'm going to need the actual definition of "garage queen" . . .

I need to qualify my "DD and Track" response. Since I live in Minnesota, it's only a DD in the non-winter months. I suppose it's been a "garage queen" since November here.

Mine is supposed to be a weekend car, but that damn groundhog lied and I can't seem to get my car out of the garage lately.

Daily driver for the past 10 years. I have personally put 87,K miles on it. Drive the 120 miles to Willow Springs, time trial on the Streets of Willow track, then drive back home. I have driven it as far as Louisiana & back to the west coast. Final day was from Dallas to west coast in 24 hours. Basically the only limitation for driving is going somewhere I don't want to leave it parked, or bad weather.

I think Daily Driver needs refinement on geographic Winters for obvious reasons

I meant to have a seasonal daily drive, but spaced when putting this together. Is there a way to add that option?

LOL!

I drive Scarlet about 800 miles a year, but they're not what I would call "pampered" miles.

Daily 60 mile round tip freeway commute at 75mph and 25+ track days per year. 126,000 miles. Very comfortable, reliable, and fun car.

Weekend Day trips with the wife plus just when I feel like it when it is nice outside. So far a couple thousand miles a year. 2001 base with 43k on the clock. Thought about buying a newer one or maybe another 911 but the bang for the buck is just too good with this one.

Generally it's my weekend car, and my university commuter four days a week. I drive my E320 to work daily, and often use it on the weekends for household duties.

Right now it's a daily driver for me. Have a nice Chevy ZR2 truck that the motor locked up in. Once I get the motor replaced the Box will be weekends only.
