I'm going to catch heck for this...who can guess what I'm going to do?
De-ambered the car this week, "Porsche Stripe" door decal will be here next week, who can guess what's on the agenda for tonight?
No laughing until the final product is shown

Yes and yes.
I know I'll get a lot of flak for the color combo, but I think I'm gonna like it
...or I'm really going to hate it. One way to find out. It's all reversible.

Totally cool! I love it when people do mods for themselves and what they like verses following the norm!

This...except for the bit on the floor
Still have to peel off the overspray.
Thanks for the encouragement! One wheel and caliper down...unfortunately, I have to work the next 3 days, so the project must wait

Thought I would hate it. It even 'sounds' yucky…but I gotta admit it kind of fits the car.
The look is like little 'eyes peering back at ya'.
Where is a lady's opinion when you need it?

Good good, you have almost the exact same wheels I do. I was seriously considering doing this for a while on my Arctic Silver. Even painted my wheels a gunmetal grey. I think I settled on doing a bright silver in the end. Still got another month or so before I go ahead and paint.
This is what my crappy photoshop looked like, with my wheels how they are.

Why not? It's cheap, easy to apply, looks good, and peels off easily.
It's an experiment...if I like the matte black look, I may get them painted down the line.
