So...after 2 days of toiling, installing HID projectors, I was ready to slap the outer lenses back on my headlights.
I though that I'd try to turn the CCFL halos a bit to get the dead spot on the bottom of both...and I broke one of the tubes :( Just couldn't leave well enough alone. Oh well. LED halos are on the way, which I prefer anyway, but this means that I'll have to wait up to a week before I can put it all back together and go for a drive. So close... http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...944C85E0D9.jpg Clean install http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...94446844D9.jpg Result of idiocy... http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...92DF78983D.jpg Top down pic from a few days ago, before the projector project. http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...8F18E1A44D.jpg |

They look great! Nice work! I need to get rid of my amber as well.

Lights look really really good. St Joe eh? I may have to beg for your assistance if I decide to do this.

Thanks guys ;)
They are definitely bright! At 4300k, they are a little more blue than I thought they'd be, but not annoyingly so. KRAM: unfortunately, yes ;) Decent little town and KC is close... Definitely not an easy job, but worth it if you have the time and patience. Removing the outer lenses was much more difficult than I had imagined. |
The more I look at this pic the more I want to paint my wheels and I'm digging the PORSCHE stripe too.

It really changes the whole feel of the car ;)
Not everyone is a fan of the green calipers, but I love them :) |
