looks nice but I don't know about that edge all the way around. Unless the car is black it really stands out as a drill-on cover. And the black inserts look like something that will always be dirty or require constant cleaning. I guess you could paint those black instead and maybe the dirt would roll off a little better.

Does anyone have their gt3 bumper? It's a great deal for $800. Anyone have any pictures of it.

^ that bumper (GT3 Mk2 2002-2004) is wider and longer than the GT3 factory bumper (mk1 1999-2001) that work on Boxsters.
You'd definitely have to put on at least 18" wheels to fill up the much larger wheel well area after doing the upgrade.
Probably 19" would be better, which would mean lowering the car for it to look right.
Even with my 18" wheels its still a pretty big area to fill with the smaller GT3 Mk1 bumper.

I would like to see it on a dark colored car. I was also hoping for a higher res picture. I don't think it looks much different than the regular mk1 gt3 bumper. I currently have 18" rims on my boxster 19" is a little too much.

This is from JAAY's thread:

Decided to give this rear Boxster Spyder look a shot based on the options:

1) go with fiberglass aftermarket rear bumper. Not crazy about that after having a previous car rear ened a few times. Once broken, easily broken a 2nd time.
2) find Euro 2003-2004 Boxster bumper, that will not be cheap.
3) add the little 03-04 difusers but in fiberglass.

For the discounted price of $260 and being completely reversible (uses double sided stick tape and 2 screws in wheel well) I'll give it a shot. Shipping was not very expensive $30. I need to repaint my rear bumper and was long wanting to do something to update the rear. Good timing on this sale.
I'm also adding the LED tailights in the dark grey/smoked. I will probbaly do the rool hoop covers from Klissle

so like this minus the pumpkins and rear spoiler.

I picked up the GT3 Tek Spyder rear diffuser during their Holiday sale. I haven't had it painted yet since the car is in storage for another 4-6 weeks, but I can't wait for Spring 2013! This should look good with my OEM AerokitII front bumper and side skirts and Cayman-style rear spoiler.
