A 245 tire stretched across a 10.5 or 11 inch wheel makes about as much sense as a woman giving birth through her nostrils. I suggest that you get a better understanding of wheel fitment and suspension geometry and set-up before you submit anymore ridiculous claims.

1.) This thread was originally about the OP and if his 10.5 will fit.
2.) Yes, logically it doesn't make sense. I know that, there's actually a valid reason I have 245's on it simply because MY FENDERS DIDN'T USED TO BE ROLLED. Not to mention I had some 245's laying around and was impatient to get it back on the ground(not the track). Tuesday I ordered 295's. However ,you arrogantly said an 11" wheel wont fit(from what ever google searches you used to make this false claim). Your flat out wrong. Regardless what gibberish you blabber on about after the fact. Point is 11" wheels fit on a 986.
3.) Btw A few years ago I co-founded a suspension components company. So I think my suspension game is pretty good. Want to call me out on that too, Or would like to continue your attempt at a rebuttal in a PM?

First off, no right minded person would run 245's on the rear of a boxster under any circumstances. Nor would anyone choose to run 295's for that matter. Furthermore, if you think that you're going to be able to run 295's on either a 10.5 or 11 inch wheel in any practical manner - I suggest that you either install a 4x4 lift kit on my vehicle or double up on your meds. Good luck - over and out !

I apologies. I didn't realize you were 15 and your closest experience with cars is on Gran Turismo 5.
Ya who the hell would ever want better handling, better braking and better launch grip on a street (current) car.... That would be pointless right..?
I wont be running dubs on the track. 18's. However, I will show you Jr. I am now going to order some 315/30/20's now, install them and show you how cute you are. Actually I think the best way to settle this would be your car vs. mine? I'm in the bay area where are you? There's a Time attack coming up in the next couple weeks at Infineon raceway, I'll even pay for your entry fees.

Wow, 315's now ! I'm going to hold off paving my driveway until you can come by with your new tire and wheel combo ! As far as a "car match" is concerned, you obviously have never seen the Dangermobile ? It's capable of leveling Third World Nations - let alone other boxsters with ridiculous wheel set-ups.
