Needs a wiggle and a yank..u cant damage anything..there is a small lug on the end that holds it in.

Pete, did your de-snork make much of a difference both to performance and sound. I don't wan't the intake to be louder than the exhaust? Also i can't seem to get that vent off - otherside...fine, that side...just too stiff to make me comfortable that i won't break it or bend the quarter.
