Just curious as to how does engine oil penetrate the bearing from the flywheel side when it is sealed on the fwd or ims side.

Richard - Call Pelican (unless someone else can clear this up). Sounds like you got the Pelican solution and not LN's. Mine had exposed bearings on one side, very hight quality.
