Why I will never buy a new Porsche

Wow you guys are being rough! This wasn't about retaining value it was about the fun he had showing a 6 year old car that stood still in time and gave him pleasure detailing it for the next show. Who knows what other cars he had along the way and did enjoy driving. It's possible $72k to him is like $720.00 to some of us. I have a close friend who has restored over 30 cars and keeps them all, I asked him if he'll auction any of them to supplement his income when he retires...nope he'll have enough already for his life style and wants to enjoy all 30+ cars until the end.

I was at a Porsche event in NC where a guy had a 944 with 600 miles, it was kewl to see what they looked like as if in show room.

If someone gets a good price on that 997 they will get a beauty. I'm sure the oil and gas were removed regularly.
