I was going to post earlier to tell you that MLegere did it before he sold his boxster and bought his Audi TT. I will email him and ask him to come back to this thread and tell you what he did.
He said it dynamically increased the volume and quality of sound, and if I'm not mistaken, he used MB Quarts speakers, but I'm not sure about that.
You should also search on speakers here and find his thread contributions as I know he posted about doing it.
