I heard the show "friends" had a episode on the pronounciation of Porsche. I wonder why 99% of Americans say it incorrectly?

I am bumping this old thread back up because a very helpful forum member PM'ed me with the suggestion that I had miss-spelled the color of my car in my signature.

As terrible of a speller that I am...I actually got it right! Thanks again "Big Bear"!

The "Big Bear" thing really made me laugh. When I was signing up for the 986 forum, Grizzly was sitting next to me, begging for some General Tso's Chicken. The rest, as they say, is history.

The attached is a photo of the actual Grizzly. Please do not view if you are squeamish, in the presence of small children, or fearful of wild animals.
