I got the bug in high school, looking for my first car. My neighbor had a 914/6 with fire damage in the engine compartment. My dad laughed when I asked for a loan, said there was no way I could get it running. That week, he bought it for himself, got it running, and let me drive it quite a bit through the years.
Shortly after that, he bought a 924, then a 944. Living in Germany, I couldn't pass up the chance to drive one in its natural habitat. I'm hooked now, and shopping for a Cayman
