Rear Bumpers

How can you bring the rear bumpers (flat black) back to life or can they be painted to match the color of the car.

Do a search, some people here have painted them...you basically do a lot of prep sanding, sanding more, and sanding more, spraying an adhesion spray, then primer, then paint, then clearcoat and wet sand.

Use back to black from your local car accessory store to bring the black original color back or visit bumperplugs.com who sell colors options...

BTW you want to search for "painted bumperettes" here... and probably also in DIY section...

I did it. Didn't do all the steps that the guy did in the link above, i.e., wet sanding after clearcoat, but mine came out okay.
