I think that a "hybrid" supercar is about as dumb an idea as they come.

I agree. To me, a hybrid super car is like a ill attempt at trying to be "green" and good for the environment. Such rational is like eating a quadruple bacon cheeseburger then having a diet coke. While no doubt it's fast, I'd rather have a fully gas powered car within the same price range given the choice.
