I think the same place that carries spinners for Porsches will have a red top for you.

You don't have to groin kick him for his desire to individualize, there should be a maroon ish color available if you want something as bright as guards red you are going to have to go custom.

Red is an available color on 981s and was for 987s I believe. No need to knock on the guy for wanting to spiff up his car. With the right color, the subdued red roof would look fantastic (especially on white or black).

I always wondered if I had been in the market in 08 would I have bought an RS60 with red or black top? I'm glad the red exists, and I always love seeing one, but would I want to see one everytime I went out into my garage???

Porsche has some of the ugliest color combinations in history. But I can see where dark red over black would look cool.

They do it cause they can, kind of tough to break a guys balls for having lime green accents when they are sitting on a GT3 that could rip a hole in most cars space time continuum.

I have seen the Wine color on a Seal Grey Boxster and I was impressed, but it gets pretty dirty after time.

Then don't you have boccie sized balls with the spinners comment?

PS 240 was a nice car, too bad it suffered Fiat itis, they literally disintegrated, Japan made a green car and didn't even know it.

I agree with Mike, you should probably buy one from GAHH. They have a large array of colors, a great warranty, and have very high quality tops. Take your pick of colors!!

The top is usually a shade of the interior or exterior color, right? What color interior are we working with here??

Paintboy what is your damage? Does your ex drive a convertible with a red top? Or maybe you got dumped by a redhead for spending too much time in the garage. 5 posts to protest a top color most of us consider sharp and very "porsche" just seems too much. Even for a purist, a non-stock top color is among the lesser evils committed against these cars in the name of individualization.
My vote is in favor, though I agree there should be some tie-in to the interior, even if only dash bars painted to match.

Yep, agree that a tie in to the interior is necessary for it to look distinguished.

As far as being different, to each their own right, I mean all of us choose to drive a Porsche instead of the run of the mill car, so may as well bask in our non-conformity and show off.

In the end there is only one person the color has to please.....the wife Sad but true!
