Are you sure about that? I'm sitting here pretty confident my 02 base has the secondary 02....maybe I'm remembering wrong....

Was actually last Sunday

But I changed spark plugs, spark plug tubes and oil. Will flush coolant and replace thermostat with the low temp one in the next 2 weeks.

I have an 01S

And I can tell you that there are no Oxygen sensors on the secondary cats...in fact the secondary cats are sitting in my basement.....TG we have no emissions here in AL

I'm pretty sure it's year dependent whether or not your secondary cats have O2 Sensors.

What get's me is the 2003 Base doesn't have them according to EJ-Fresno and my 2003 S does have them.

The Porsche PET doesn't show them as S model specific. If they were they would put M008 in the Model column. M008 stands for 986 S 3.2 Litres Displacement.
