Installed new dash speakers (sounds better).
Cleaned my old convertible top (plastic window) so I can try to sell it.

Passed inspection

My 11.5k mile 2002 Boxster with rebuilt engine passed inspection today.
Tomorrow I go get tags.

Not sure if I sell this or moth ball it for my daughter who starts high school tomorrow.

Lots of goodies in engine.
Nikisil, imsr, billet chain tensioner,
Low temp thermo, all
Wear items new.

Arguably better than rolling off factory line.

I think I final got rid of pesky code P1128, I tried cleaning mass air flow sensor, took off throttle body and cleaned it, only to have the code stay away for a short time, every time I checked my throttle body to intake manifold book clamps, one seemed to loosen, changed the clamps, on the drivers side, cleared the code again, so far after 2 days of driving still good. keeping fingers crossed.

Got up as usual to visit the gym, tried to start the beast, no-go. Spent $800 getting fuel pump and filter replaced. Next thing: need to replace the door latch mechanism to clear alarm faults. The cost of cool I guess.

Changed the oil and filter. Added the LN spin-on adapter. The filter and magnetic plug were both clean I will send a sample to Blackstone. I also got rid of the last of my amber, replacing the amber bulbs on the side lights.

Finally, I removed my Euro plate. Seems some police officers don't have anything better to do. My wife and I were pulled over last week for having the plate. That was the only reason for pulling me over. He said that it is a fictitious plate, gave me a warning for "no plate" saying that was better than the fictitious plate citation since that can even include jail time! Give me a break. He said the plate looked good but I needed to put the "real" plate on, even though my Euro plate had my "real" numbers, the Texas emblem and looked just like the "real" plate. Now I am back to no plate Driving around, you can quickly lose track when counting the number of cars without front plates around here. Oh well.....

Installed the replacement frunk release actuator (thanks itsnotanova!). When reinstalling the right headlight after rerouting the emergency release, the frunk lid fell on my head. That smarts.
