The other day I installed some carbon fiber covers (you can see some in the pic) When I bought my Boxster the cig lighter was missing. I don't smoke, but I didn't like having the open hole in the dash. I bought a lighter from another member here, but I also order a tow hook cap hoping it would fit the hole. It's a perfect fit and looks pretty good to me!

Oh and my 987 air box came in today. Car goes in the body shop Monday, but I'll be working on the air box to make it fit while I wait to get the car back.

For the record, they weren't my shots. No sense in posting iPhone shots when more capable people with capable cameras present.

Replaced my headlight switch. I had to drive home from our PCA dinner this month with the dimmer stalk pulled to bright and been limited to daylight driving since then.

I just got back from a week of skiing in Salt Lake City. All I have done is see my car after a week away.

I installed the PORSCHE trunk emblem, along with the targa switch for the garage door opener and the wiper delay.
But my convertible top motor is dead

First, I installed new rear speaker brackets from Euro Motorspeed. I inquired wether or not they would sell me just the brackets from their kit. I spoke with Loi and two days later they arrived! I have to say, the brackets are excellent quality! When I replaced the stock speakers with 3.5" Pioneer speakers, I enlarged the holes in the stock plastic bracket and to be honest, I just was not happy with the way it looked, even if I am the only one who saw it. The Euro Motorspeed brackets are metal and fit perfectly. If you are contemplating replacing your stock speakers, this is the way to go IMO.

You can see the difference between modified stock and the new one:
Next I installed the SkyBreaker from Fred! I used a fuse tap to power it. Again, excellent craftsmanship from Fred

Replaced the passenger-side window regulator with a good used example from Woody to fix the chewed cable on the original part.
Polished the exhaust tip and surround to take off years of oxidation. Still needs work.
