Hey emerson323 - I highly recommend taking the Boxster over to Euro Spec Motoring on 5414 W. Pico Blvd for a pre-purchase inspection. These guys are simply the best (they also worked for Porsche for many years before opening up their own shop). Not only are their prices reasonable, but the quality of their work is evident from the overwhelming positive reviews they've been given by customers on Yelp (-that's how I found them originally). I own a '98 Boxster with 49K miles - and these are my go-to guys for anything regarding my car. Definitely check them out and give them a call. Here's the shop's website:
