How many miles on your clutch ? (986)
(986 owners).
How many miles do you have on your clutch ?
Is it the original still as far as you know, or have you swapped it ?
Model year ?
Base or S ?
Input appreciated.

62k miles. Bought the car with 19k miles and haven't done the clutch yet, so (assuming the PO wasn't an absolute beast on clutches ) it would appear to be the original.

1997 Base
Original Clutch
83k miles. PO was an OLD MAN! In his defense I drive like that too. LOL
Still feels great though.

99 base 93k miles never tracked Do not know how long the clutch will last. I drive it easy and so did the last owner. We both are mid-life oldies who take Centrum Silver daily.

97 with ~48k on it. Bought it with 40k 2 years ago, and I'm assuming the clutch was never done because the car was bought previously with 25k, driven to 40k, and left to sit. Mostly highway/turnpike cruising duty on it, a fair amount of short work commuting, and 3 autocrosses in as many months just recently. If it makes it to 60k I'll be happy with that...I'm admittedly not very nice to it because I like to give the car a good run, while the previous owners probably left it to Sunday drive duty.

My '03 S has around 22k miles on it and the clutch engages just fine but also makes a squeak which gets worse when the engine is hot. I presume it's the throw-out bearing and plan to replace everything in about a year, LMS and all.

2000 w 126k miles. Clutch has just the slightest bit of intermittent chatter/vibration if launched from a stop below about 1800 RPM, otherwise smooth as silk. Has been doing it since I got the car 10k miles ago.

2001 Boxster 2.7. 40k miles. Slight judder from start
with low revs. but okay with higher revs. Has slight leak in rms. Will drive this 5 speed/clutch till it falls apart or IMSGuardian warning goes off whichever comes first, then the clutch gets replaced.

78k miles 2000 2.7l 5 speed. Original clutch but it is toast! I am changing it as soon as I get the parts in three days. Here's the backstory; wanted to see if boxster had wheel spin; revved to 7000 rpm and dumped the clutch. As a result, the clutch slips 200rpm before finally going into gear. I think it had maybe another 10,000 miles on it before it needed to be changed if I had not done that; the car was a city driver.

^ My clutch let go at ~70K too. Albeit at the 10 year mark.
I probably linger on the clutch too much. By far my worst habit.

Base Boxster, 2.7L with 27900miles, original clutch.
No slippage or chatter. The clutch engages right away. So far we've been pretty lucky with this car despite a worthless PrePurchase Inspection.

I replaced mine at 72k and 13 years. It was still working, but I wanted to get the IMS done. The mechanic said it didn't have much longer. Needed a new flywheel too.

2000 Base with 55,000 miles (90,000 km) and no problems except slight judder on take-offs once warmed up, if below 1300 RPM's.
