While a generous offer by jb92563, this is against the user agreement you purchased with CarFax, and is against most Forum rules I see on the internet, since this is basically considered retail theft of intellectual material. Again, a nice gesture, but against most rules I see/know.

This Board has already been sued once, and lost (settled). Proceed with caution.

I thought I bought a fixed number of CarFaxes and it was up to me how I used them?

I better stop though if there is any question about it as I have no intention of breaking any rules here or at CarFax.

Sorry folks,

Thanks for bringing it to my attention Flavor.

Ray, cool, thanks for taking my comment with the right attitude and approach. The other "kicker" too is that the CarFax you run for a friend would become basically useless, if there was an issue with the car, that escaped CarFax's research parameters. In other words, the CarFax report and guarantee is only valid for the actual person who actually purchased the service.
