dghii Registered User Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Florida Posts: 2,497	I did the Porsche Gear oil in my 2000 Boxster @ 93K miles. I went back and forth on what to use. Bottom line: A decent synthetic gear oil was pushing $20/liter while the Porsche stuff was $28/liter plus ($10 shipping for 3 liters). Given I'll most likely never have to do this job again, I figured the OEM stuff was the way to go, given the delta in price of $34.
