Even after you sell it you face scrutiny, be happy and healthy. When I sold mine I told myself one has to go for another to arrive, something will come your way.

Without leakdown and compression numbers, along with oil consumption data, this statement is not worth very much. It might (and probably is) be true, but as you know, much more data is necessary.

A well sorted air cooled 911 would likely keep you very entertained, not to mention keep you in the P-car family. While I really enjoyed my 986, the move to a 993 was one of the smarter decisions I made. With every passing month of ownership I've grown to appreciate everything about it a bit more, honestly the first time in over a decade I've gotten attached to a car. As they say, the hunt is half the fun, good luck Blue
