I'm surprised more people don't know of him.
I got to see him live a couple of times. Definite insane with the acoustic guitar!

I'm ashamed to admit that before I got my iPod interface installed my favorite CD to cruise to - top down - was Bruce Willis' Bruno album. Post iPod interface my favorites are Cake and Streetlight Manifesto.

Everytime I get a new ride, the first song I play is YES: Relayer. Been doing it since 1980. Other cool tunes:
Grateful Dead: Cassidy
The Outlaws: Holiday
Tool: Vicarious
Motley Crue: Wild Side

I like to hear some laid back tunes also so Buffet, Mathews and TSO. I like the fact that it is simple, easy going maybe it helps keep me a little under control.

Good songs that i recommend to driving relaxed to are:
Every Little Beat, Above and Beyond ft. Richard Bedford
Even If, Calibre
but I personally like songs with out lyrics because it lets me imagine what ever I want
Campfire, Dinka
Miracle, Blackmill or any song by Blackmill
String Theory, Apex
So ya I don't know if you'll like any of them and Im sorry if im throwing out names that not many people have heard of.

Blue Car, by Greg Brown. Also pretty much anything by John Prine, Lucinda Wiliams, or John Hiatt. When I want to crank it up, The Rolling Stones are my go to band.
