My '01 has the emergency cable release dislodged from the catch.... Looks like these things do happen... Was wondering what that cable should be attached to... Anyone got a photo of where it's supposed to go to ?

Better get that fixed before I get stuck in the same situation !!

from pelican's website: #12 is the emergency release cable.

Angry Boxster front trunk issues

Any luck with solving this dilemma? My emergency cable is detached under the hood and I don't hear the actuator engaging!
