Thank you, THSTONE and FRODO !!! For you understanding of abused.....animals. The third one "Orphan Annie " crawled up my loading dock with a broken leg and tooth "fang", starving and abused. Our good VET took good care of her. I brought her home on our "anniversary" with the promise of finding her a home. Hense, Orphan Annie- versary ! (10 years ago) She is still here. Thank you for your understanding. MAX

friday is our day to pick up our new shelter pup. wife & i are finally over the death of our last dog.

Best of luck to you TWODAN. There is always a great deal of satisfaction that a pup can provide and picking up a rescued one makes it more of an adventure, also more satisfying to know that you did well. I miss my own dog which I had taken care of until I could find him a good home. WELL any way lets get back to the point of the thread, I named my girl Cassandra. Don't know why but that was the first name that poped up in my mind. Also considering that I don't know any Cassandras personally so ya it makes me happy.
