schnellman Registered User Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Ohio Posts: 868	I have read extensively on the subject and despite what many on this forum have to say, the petroleum experts (not the car owners) believe that Mobil 1 0W40 provides more than adequate protection for a boxer engine. I have used Mobil 1 0W40 for several years now with excellent results. The best way to start a fire storm on this forum is bring up the subject of oil -- followed closely by the choice of tires.
