Brakes squeaking

Replaced all four pads recently, but I'm still getting some squeaking while coming to a stop. The squeaking is more noticeable after the brakes have been warmed up and been used for a little while.

Also, when I'm rolling back on an incline and I cover the brakes, the rear makes a louder more audible squeak/groan. This is pretty embarassing when parking lol. What can be the cause of this?

Probably normal break-in for the new pads. Sometimes it can take up to several hundred miles before the squealing stops.

You can try removing the pads and using an anti-squeal spray or liquid on the back and edges of the pads to try to quiet them down. This may not improve things if the problem is the natural break-in of the pads but its cheap and easy.

By the way, the loud squeaking sounds were there before the pads were replaced. Swapping out the pads did nothing about the loud squeaking/graoning noise when rolling backwards.

I originally thought my rear pads were done because of the noise but it turns out they didn't need to be replaced because they were still 85% or so. But since I had them out I just ended up swapping them out.

You can use an anti-squeal spray by Wurth's on your Pad Vibration Damper or just replace them. I would bed my pads first...get to a good stretch of road, get up to a about 50mph and then stop hard without locking the brakes. Do that 3-4 times and then see if you have any problems. I would also suggest replacing the rotors if they have 60K or more on them.

Bedding in the pads does help on the squealing. Also when I installed my Pagid's I chamfered the leading edge of the pad per the suggestion of the dealer. No noise what so ever going forward (sometimes a light squeal when backing up) and I did not use any anti-squeal goop.
