I think you mean vintage video.

That was the episode that sold me on the Boxster. About a week later I was negotiating my current Boxster from a local dealer (trade in) in mint showroom condition. The Car Gods must have liked me that month. I was on the fence between a standard 996 or the 986S. Seeing Tiff laughing his tea-sipping arse off as he skillfully tossed the car around pretty much summed it up for me. Winner.

I was also considering the S2000 but the seating position just seemed weird to me. And they hadn't yet made the big improvements for or they didn't yet trickle down to the used (I never buy new). After picking up the Boxster a friend who drove an S2000 himself, and once raced with a former McLaren driver in junior formulas, could not stop gushing about the Boxster. He went into a detailed front to back analysis about how the Boxster did everything perfectly. "This is the car I wanted to buy but I got the S2000 instead". Interestingly he also had an issue with the seating position in the S2000.

Well for sure the S2000 is designed for Japanese male body in mind... and height-wise I'm more German than Japanese.

Nice video. Always glad to hear from those who agree, whole heartedly, with me.
