I had the same problem, there was only one place that could cut them and that was the local AUDI dealer. All the dealers here in SoCal are owned by one company, and they only had one key machine, with one guy who knew how to use it. The key worked well, but it was a pain in the butt. Then, you need to program it to the car's immobilizer *and* the alarm module using the PST-2.
Lesson of the day? Don't lose your key!
