Question cleaning headlight lenses

I bought all kinds of lense cleaners. They didn't work. Just read about toothpaste. Any comments or other ideas.

That depends on the condition of your lens. Are they completely yellow? In that case you need something more abrasive.

In most cases Plexus will keep them clean but if they haven't been taken care of in the first place you need something more aggressive to take off more layers. Check out eshine.ca they have headlight restoration kits there.

Progressive abrasives. If its really bad, start with 400 wet, then go to 600, 1000, 2000, rubbing compund then polishing compound.

We regularly clean up some really hideously cloudy lights with Griot's fine glass polish, a little on a buffer pad and in 5 min. they are crystal clear................
