New Wevo motor mount

I replaced the OEM front mount with a Wevo one. The job was easy, and I had some immediate observations.

First, the original was TRASHED.The center piece fell out when I got to it.

I noticed there is a lot more engine noise, I assume due to the stiffer Wevo bushing. Throttle response when acceleration was noticeably crisper.
And the 3K vibe? It now starts at 1200 and stays untils 3500

I guess that's the cost of having a firmer mount.

Yes, I had the same experience also with my new "intermediate" engine mount. I've found that I don't even notice it anymore.

Garage
I have the wevo as well in my 3.6.

It will get a little softer over time but not much softer. Also you will eliminate all the squeaks and rattles one by one or you will go mad, it takes a while and you will not put change in your ashtray any more because it will make noise. It changes the whole feel of the car, makes ripping up through the revs a thrill.

It is not for everyone but I would never go back to a softer mount.
