Not all dealers sell warranties (I don't) nor are all dealers out to screw their customers (I am not). Clearly some are, so buyers do need to beware. Your point on 3000 mile oil changes with synthetic oil is off base and not supported by any credible information that I have seen. However, you cautionary tales on aftermarket warranties are useful. Thanks for posting.
