Does it have to go to a Porsche specialist for the clutch? Could not a good generalist mechanic do this work for you. Some people do it at home, so surely a professional could manage the job?

clutch is very easy on this car. i can do it in 2.5hrs in my garage with no air and no lift.

I would say any shop that replaces clutches should be able to R&R a boxster clutch. O.P. probably should replace flywheel due to difficulty in getting service & parts in his area.

2.5 hours to do a clutch job ? It would be worth it to me to have you do mine when it needs it. I have air and stands. Can I buy you a round trip ticket to Idaho ?
