MY 2000 is when the standard box got a 2.7 motor. At this point, they all recieved 4 cats in USA spec. I think they did this due to emissions restrictions...

So after reading that, you need to go back to a pre-2000 or just get rid of the cats altogether. I did and I love it! You do NOT have to reflash DME either. I have a mechanic in Nashville, Tn that can do it with no additional DME mods.
