Courtesy/Step Light

Anyone know how to replace the courtesy/step light bulb in the door of a 97 Boxster?

I don't want to break something by doing it wrong.

According to the Bentley manual:

"Using a plastic prying tool or a screwdriver with tape wrapped around tip, carefully pry out door courtesy light socket.
- Detach electrical connector, remove light bulb from socket and replace.
- Installation is reverse of removal. "

Get yourself a Bentley manual from Amazon for Christmas. It will be the best money you will ever spend on your Boxster and save you a ton on repair issues.
See you around on the roads of the Emerald City.

Courtesy/Step Light on 2008

is the method the same on a 2008? i read this post and gently tried to pop it out but i didn't want to "get a bigger hammer". if it is, pry on an end or top of lens.

thanks, dan
