That's exactly what I'm looking for. When you put the system in, who moved the controls that were located up top (that are now pictured in the bottom opening).
What is the brand you put in?
I'm looking to have all the bells and whistles if i upgrade to include the nav, bluetooth, XM, ipod, possibly DVD capabilities. I honestly hadn't thought about the speakers!
The Bestbuy people I spoke to said it was a single DIN. What does it involve to make it double? What types of places did you look at to do the install of all the components and about what price range did it all finally end up in?

For all the searching I did, that was exactly what I needed

Here's a link to a DIY tutorial on Renntech: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/109-porsche-boxster-avic-d3-installation-instructions/

You will need to be a contributing member to read it, but it will be a worthwhile investment.

I moved my heat/ac controls from the bottom position to the top. You want to do the reverse. Search cupholderectomy on this forum and Renntech
