Headlight problem

Good evening,
I am new to the forum as a member but have often refered to it to find answers to issues during my ownership. I have a 1998 Boxster and have a problem that, so far, I cannot find an answer for. I just noticed that the fog light and highbeam do not work on the driverside. All other lights work, low beams, turn signals, rear lights, etc. All fuses are good. Any suggestions on where to look next ? Thanks for the help.

The high beam and front fog light share a ground with the rest of the lights on the left, so it should not be a ground problem. They are on separate fuses so even if one did go bad it is unlikely you lost two at the same time.

I think your most likely issue is a connector problem (loose/corroded).

Thanks Donv......I guess I will remove it again and check all connections. Very frustrating.

As a followup, I found the plastic base that holds the recepticle and receives the headlight 7 blade plug had cracked. It was not allowing all the blades to make contact. A little epoxy and the problem was solved. Thanks again to donv for pointing me in the right direction.
