dennis Registered User Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: NY Posts: 130	Inspecting Oil Filter for Contaminants I just changed the oil and decided to keep the filter and see if there was a way to analyze it for any metal. There is none visible to the naked eye. Any suggestions? I know I can take it to a lab, but I am doing this more of a curiosity thing as there are no current (knock on wood) engine issues. Any suggestions would be apreciated
