Have you recharged with refrigerant?
If so, it could have leaked compressor oil as well as refrigerant, but only refrigerant was replenished.
Sometimes they just go bad and need to be replaced.
You can find one for very cheap ($50-$75).
Just contact the Boxster Spec Racers. They sell all that unnecessary stuff.
