Am I the only one that thinks the UK and Canadian ones look like the same top (except the window)?

The rear window on the Canadian top looks much larger and the side window looks much more rounded at the rear. Maybe it's camera angle on the side windows, but not the rear window. Two different models/stages?

I think this one looks the best without trying too hard to look like the Cayman. Don't think I know anyone that owns one from all the boards I visit.

The driver is Ethan Dahlkamp. He is one of the Boxster hot shoes from San Diego. Ethan drives a stripped and caged Boxster race car with a stock 2.7 motor, $8k in suspension and tires and he drives the wheels off that thing, regularly posting GT3 lap times. I have not seen Ethan since Buttonwillow but I believe the top is a one off prototype that does not meet Boxster spec rules so it was not mass produced. It does look good though.

You can't be serious that this is the "best looking aftermarket hardtop ever"

That's what the ad said not me. Last time I'll respond to a post of yours. What a jerk.
(IMHO)
Dude, that's a valid question: I post a picture of a long slung hard top and you reply with a link to hardtop which looks completely different. I think this warrants the question if you even bothered to look at the pics I posted.

But now let's focus our attention on who's the jerk here. Let's have a look at: Entry (sitting down) question

There we have a nice old Gentleman who made his lifelong dream come true and got himself the car he ever dreamed of, a Boxster. Well and with his 70 years he not old finds this forum but also posts. I personally think this is damn cool. I hope that when I turn 70 one day will have the guts and energy to do that and not to buy the car that everyone expects me to drive (Lincoln, Cadillac, Pontiac or some other POS). Every poster responds nicely and friendly to him, so let's see what nice words you had in store to welcome him to this board (and I guess your 8 posts that you already managed to post allow you to climb all the way onto your high horse).

Drumroll (I quote directly from your post): "Yes..... trade it in on a Cadillac. They have more room for a wheelchair."

You, my friend are a first rate jerk and yes please do me the favor and keep your promise and never respond to any of my posts again.

That is the worst, rudest, and most insulting thing I have ever heard anyone say on this forum. Definitely ban worthy on every other forum I frequent.

Will there be a discount for people who have already paid for a Zeintop?

Do not confuse Christoph Zeinecker with Andreas Zeinecke. The latter actually INVENTED the hard top design and has NOTHING TO DO with Zeintec. The two parties are members of the same family and that is a far as it goes!
Andreas has his own business, "Z-Art" and currently works from Switzerland. He is to relocate and set up in Canada with a business partner. He MAY decide to manufacture the Boxster tops later on in conjunction with all his other quality products but this will be completely separate to the Zeintec exercise. Andreas has run a successful and reliable business for many years and unfortunately, there are some who are linking him to the Zeintec debacle. This is WRONG and unfair in every regard and from my point of view, Andreas's reputation is as sound as it ever was and he should NOT be penalised in any way for what has happened to Zeintec.
If Andreas decides to build the tops, they could possibly be made from aluminium which if course will make them much lighter and possibly cheaper but I wouldn't expect anything in the near future.

I have not heard anything regarding Andreas Zeinecke and his possible hardtop in a few months. Does anyone have any updated information?
