Whats the fastest you've ever gone in your boxster?
I have an 03 986 base with 70,000 miles and yesterday I hit 118 it was completely fine shaking a little but nowhere near what you would think for that speed.

Do a thread search and you'll find dozens of responses to this question.
I am sure you are referring to driving 118 on a track and not public roads, right? (various forum members and the owner do not condone triple digit speeds on public roads!)
I hit 115 on the track at my last DE and that's the fastest I've driven my box. Not the fastest I've driven a car though... that would be 162 mph in a Carrera on the autobahn.

With my luck, I'd chew up an IMS bearing about the same time I hit tipple digits with the RMS collapsing because the AOS couldn't take anymore causing the engine to lock hard before I could push in on the clutch that now failed locked sending the Box into a terrible spin throwing it into something much more solid than itself causing just enough damage to not total it just as an officer of the law happened to be passing by and as luck would also have it, witness the entire event to help in my proper recollection for the judge.
Or something like that.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I may incriminate myself.
