Just be sure that there is room enough in the tube for two gauges (end pieces), or else you may not be able to replace the dipstick without first removing the old piece.

Here is a thought; if you track or Auto-X your car, consider replacing the stock oil pan with the X-51 pan. It is available from both Sunset and Suncoast for about 199 and will help keep oil at the pick up tubes in fast corners. The pan requires a small modification, I was able to do it in 10 minutes with some snips and Dremel.

I don't currently track so that upgrade won't be necessary at this time. As for the fitting of the new dipstick...I will be picking one up from the stealership on monday hopefully and making sure it can read normally. I have 8.5 qts in right now and will add the rest when I can accurately measure it.
