Chicago Scene Magazine

Does the Chicago Scene magazine come to your door or is it only online in PDF?

I joined PCA in Dec but haven't received the Jan/Feb issue...

You need to be a Chicago PCA member. It is mailed to your home. If you joined in December, it will take a while for the membership to kick in. They usually get sent out pretty late, for the current months.

Hmmm, is this the Chicago Scene you speak of?

I hear the Chicago PCA magazine is actually a wonderful publication with lots of good articles and color throughout.

If anyone would be willing to send an old one to me, I'd love to have it as ammo at my next PCA meeting to show them what a crappy publication we offer our members considering we have a quarter of a million bucks in the bank with nothing to spend it on.

Those that are interested may visit our website at www.pca-chicago.org and download pdf copies of current and back issues of the Scene. Susan Shire works very hard to put together a worthwhile publication and her work shows. I sometimes wish our members had an option to "opt out" of receiving hard copies...it could save money for our region and ultimately, reduce costs to some of our events.

While you're in the website, check out members car photos and the new driver's ed movie...my green meanie 911 is amongst those in the video.

Randall, send me your address at jmatta"at"centrustbank"dotcom" and I'll get a copy out to you.

J Matta,
I'm looking to opt-in because I need more bathroom reading material! The Hemmings only goes so far!

Jan/Feb are usually combined due to winter inactivity. Check the website, as the March issue should be coming out soon, if not already.

See you out at an event. This Sunday is the spring tech session at Northstar Motorsports in Barrington IL. Read all about it on the website.
