The event runs 9 - 2 on this Saturday, January 31. I went to a similar one at Park Place and people typically come, hang out for an hour or two, and then go home. It's not a big weekend gathering like Boxstoberfest. Several of us are planning to meet ~9am, but if you are for sure coming from SA, perhaps we can delay a bit so you do not have to leave at 5am.

Hey guy's,

The weather in OKC is getting pretty bad. In the event that this ice storm doesn't end and melt off by Friday, I won't be coming. Can someone bring a camera and post the pics for those of us that might not make it?

Thanks in advance.

Will do! Stay safe. The storm is supposed to hit Dallas sometime tonight.

So how will us 986forum folk be able to spot each other in the crowd?

I'll most likely be sporting a white Cubs hat.
And not my normal cowboy hat...

And I respond to "Jeph" or sometimes "Jeff."

Well, since I'm a huge Cubs' fan myself I will definitely look you up! If it's chilly, I'll have my Cubs' stocking hat on; otherwise it's the bald look for me!

Hey guys. I just found out that an old high school friend died and his funeral is Saturday afternoon. I will probably still go to RUF in the morning but won't be able to hang out past then. If I need to leave before Jeph is ready (like everyone goes to lunch or something), perhaps one of you can take him home.

You make me feel like the nerdy guy in high school that somehow found his way into the cool crowd from time to time.

As my Porsche ownership status is considered "transitional" at this time, I don't have the desire to stay for an extended period of time. I'm still cool with leaving when you do (not that the others here frighten me).

65 degree's, sunshine and I was stuck at home. The wife went to work to make up some of the time she had to take off because of last weeks weather. I had to watch our 2 year old and miss the get together at RUF's today (no baby seat for the Box).

Please tell me someone took pictures and will post them.

I took some pix -but they're worth posting. I've been there a few times before so seeing the same cars over and over doesn't seem as photo-worthy. Besides, my pix are just camera phone pix.

What you really missed out on was meeting some cool people. Everyone was really nice, both patrons and RUF staff -they always are.

The weather being nice was an added bonus.

I took some photos and will post them when I return home -- later tonight or early Monday.
