Free Scan, Wash, & Food (in Dallas @ RUF)

More info here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=46015157897

Saturday, January 31, 2009
RUF Auto Centre
3219 Commander Drive
Carrollton, TX

9:00am - ???

I saw on 6speedonline.com about this event hosted by RUF. (I emailed Hans there to confirm it.)
Get a free car scan, 21 point inspection (the car is put on a lift), and a car wash.
Hang out and chat with fellow Porsche Owners if you're in the DFW area.

Saw the ad in the MRPCA mag. I went to the same type of event at ParkPlace (Dallas Porsche dealership) and the part I enjoy the most was getting close to the LMP spyder, the CGTs and vintage RSs... I've never been to RUf and will probably take this opportunity...

Sounds like a great excuse to get the Box out and stretch her legs down I-35.

In that case you definitely must go. The adjacent car storage is practically a museum of all things fast and powerful. See you there!

I think Tamera is coming with me. If that changes I'll let you know.

I will definitely go. Are you guys going in the morning or afternoon?

Jeph, PM me your location. If my wife doesn't want to join me (which she never does to these events) I can give you a ride if you'd like.

Thanks for the offer! I think I'll be getting a ride with Timothy. He lives blocks away from me. I haven't discussed time with Tim, but I imagine we'll go around 10:30-11:00am.

Jeph, your facebook event notice says 9 - 11 and now you are saying 11 - 1? Get your act together man!! Since of course we are going for the free food, let's talk in terms of meals. I prefer a RUF breakfast so the afternoon is free for other projects; however, I can be pursuaded if the consensus is to go for lunch.

Let's take a vote: 1 breakfast -- 0 lunch
Jeph and 986FortyEight, how do you vote?

Somewhere along the way I got it in my head that the event was this Saturday, not next. So I arrive at Jeph's all bright eyed and chipper, and he answers the phone sounding half asleep. Poor guy had to set me straight and I went back home to try again same time next week.

Timothy,

In the military we call that an Operational Check-Out. For your effort, "Ops Check good".

I also had in mind the event would be today but fortunately I checked before going to bed last night!
See you for breakfast next week!
