That would be me...I need to email Pete Stout and thank him for the placement. This whole M96 motor issue is intriguing to me. My car has 15k miles on it, but the thought of a 3.6 sounds pretty good. I must admit though, the 3.2 in the S is a very nice motor, especially with minor mods done to let it breath a little better. Jake has been very good about answering all our emails and should expect to have a good business year in '09.

I think the more owners that write follow up letters to Excellence, the better the chances for additional articles. It seems every forum I've read recently either quoted Jake, or he participated in the discussion himself.
Too bad I'm way north as I'd like to visit his shop. I'm working on my independent Porsche specialist to participate on the flat6 program; as a master race engine builder, he could only profit from the rebuild program (already rebuilds cup motors and air cooled).
