In winter? I just drive it. On the same high performance summer tires, even.

The Boxster is now my only car. If conditions are too bad to drive, I'll just work from home.

You probably already know that when the pavement gets much below 40 degrees, the high-performance summer tires quickly become very slick.... I recall seeing one post on the forum from someone who totaled his box driving it with summer tires in cold weather. But that's probably what you meant about working from home.

I tried garaging my baby for the winter, but couldn't stand it. Now I put on the all-season radials and drive on.

I throw a set of Blizzacks on my '97 and drive it all Winter. I don't take it out if the snow is deep, but in the cold it runs fine. I've had it out in some pretty slick conditions and the car handles well. It is garage kept so I can keep it clean. Too hard for me to NOT drive the car year 'round.

All-seasons? At least go for snows... much more fun!

Anyway, I took the Boxster out of semi-hibernation last night for a drive. It was 55 degrees and dry. Now it's 25 and ice pellets are falling from the sky.
