Too big for a Cayman?
Im 6' 230lbs
Ive sat in a 02 911 before and it felt WAY small for me.
Im also used to driving a big lifted truck.
Just curious to see how big alot of you drivers are?

I'm 6'2" 184 lbs in a Porsche Boxster, which I believe has a lower roofline than the Cayman.
I fit in just fine, it feels a bit tight if you get in from big car, but I got used to it quite quickly.

At 6'1", 180, the seat bolsters feel snug on me.... would probably be annoying if I were 50# heavier.

I'm about your same size Lifted and yep the Boxster feels a bit snug but so do most smallish cars I get into (I had a Mustang Cobra before the Porsche, those seats were terrible). I joke that I'm about 3 biscuits away from being too fat for the Boxster but it really isn't the case, as long as you're still limber and not out of shape getting in and out isn't an issue.

i'm 6' / 245lb. i fit ok in the box. i'm all torso, though. my legs are pretty short for my height (30.5" inseam). if my legs were much longer, the boxster would not be very comfortable. the new caymans / boxsters have a little more room.
i fit fine in the 996 and even better in the 997.

No short and fat person driving Boxsters?
I'm 6'2" and 190lbs and I fit pretty good and that's one of the biggest reason I bought this car.

I am short and fat 5'8" 300#. I really have no problems in my '08 Boxster. It feels plenty roomy but I am used to not fitting well. Also I understand 987s have more interior room than the 986.

6'4", 220#
No fit problems. I will admit that I prefer a tight cockpit as I think it aids in spirited driving, but I am honestly more comfortable in the Boxster than I was in my old Audi A4 or I am in my Chevy Blazer.

I'm 5'11" and USED to weigh 160 when I ran marathons...I've now ballooned to 200lbs, but fit perfectly fine in the Box S and my 911 with Recaro SPGs.

5'10" 180, I fit well. However I still prefer my 17" Kirkey's in my 944!

I'm 5'0", 105 pounds, so obviously no problem fitting.
My brother is about 6', 200+ and he has only ridden as a passenger but doesn't like my car and feels like it's too small for him. He's used to driving a Jeep Cherokee.

I'm 5'10" and 206 pounds (i play rugby and work out too much/not enough). I fit fine, a bit snug, but fine. My brother who is about an inch taller and 10 pounds lighter thinks its a bit snug, but more than comfortable enough for a 3 hour drive (which he has done). You should be fine, but it depends on your seating position in your truck

Im 6 2 and about 180llbs, I do find it a bit tight in the Boxster, Ive got all the seat adj as far back and as low as it goes and still would prefer a little more room, I dont know how someone taller than me would fit, maybe it depends on the leg to body length ratio.

Do you have a 986 or a 987? The 987 offers more leg and headroom, with the re-design.
